Position Summary
Shrewsbury Bangkok City Campus launched the Hanqing Bilingual Pathway (HQP) in August 2025, a pioneering ChineseEnglish bilingual programme for Thai and International students. Following a successful launch, the pathway will expand in August 2026, and we are now seeking passionate, high-quality teachers to join our growing team.
The English QTS Teacher will work in close partnership with a Chinese Classroom Teacher, co-planning and co-teaching in an immersive bilingual environment. Together, the teaching team is responsible for homeroom duties and for delivering a curriculum based on the UK National Curriculum (Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1), with integrated bilingual approaches. The English QTS Teacher will provide a strong foundation in English literacy and language development, while working collaboratively to ensure children receive a high standard of bilingual learning experience.
All classes have one or two full-time teaching assistants, and the provision is further enhanced by specialist lessons in Thai, PE, Swimming, Music, Library, and more. All Class Teachers also contribute to the school's rich extra-curricular programme You Time!.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate:
- Be a fully qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Be a dedicated outstanding teacher capable of inspiring students
- Will have a full working knowledge of the National Curriculum (Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2)

Desirable Criteria
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Experience in international or bilingual schools, ideally with UK National Curriculum EYFS/Key Stage 1.
