Head of Finance – Business Unit

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Head of Finance leads the Finance and Accounting function for the Foods / Catering business, while providing oversight and support to the Group's finance operations across multiple markets in Asia. As a critical member of the Finance Leadership Team, the Head of Finance ensures the integrity of financial reporting, robust internal controls, statutory compliance, treasury management, and business performance management and partnering closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Commercial, and Country Finance teams to support sustainable growth, drive operational excellence, and create long-term value.

Acting as a trusted finance business partner to operational management, the Head of Finance safeguards the Company's assets while upholding strong governance standards. The role leads and develops the finance team and maintains close coordination with the parent company through regular reporting and communication, ensuring alignment between local operations and broader group objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership & Business Partnering

• Lead the Finance & Accounting function and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to managements, providing insights to support business and commercial decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and other functions to improve profitability, productivity, and cost efficiency.

2. Financial Reporting & Performance Management

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with TFRS and statutory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting for management and the Board.
• Coordinate regional and Group consolidation reporting across Thailand and other regional markets.

3. Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis

• Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives, investments, pricing, contract negotiations, and new business opportunities.
• Provide forward-looking financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

4. Treasury & Working Capital Management

• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and cash utilization across the Group.
• Manage banking relationships, financing facilities, and compliance with relevant financial covenants.

5. Internal Control, Risk, Tax & Governance

• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with Group policies, governance requirements, tax regulations, and statutory obligations.
• Strengthen finance policies, processes, risk management, and fraud prevention.

6. Audit & Regional Finance Coordination

• Lead external and internal audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Provide functional leadership to regional finance teams and drive consistent accounting, reporting, and control standards across the Group.

7. Systems & Transformation

• Drive finance process improvement, automation, digitalization, and ERP optimization.
• Enhance data governance, reporting efficiency, and financial analytics to support better decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• At least 5 years in a Head of Finance, Senior Finance Director, or Finance Business Partner role.
• Experience within hospitality, catering, or food services industries is highly desirable.
• Experience working with regional or multinational organizations.
• Proven experience leading finance teams and cross-functional projects.
