Head of Logistics (Korean Speaking / English Speaking)

POSITION OVERVIEW Coway Thailand is seeking a strategic Logistics Team Manager or Head of Logistics to oversee end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations under the Product Logistics Division. A key challenge involves leading the infrastructure setup, storage, and distribution models for a new product category launching in 2027.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Global SCM & Import Management: Oversee cross-border operations linking Thailand, Korea, and China. Ensure strict compliance with Thai customs laws and trade regulations, collaborate with brokers to optimize costs, and align demand forecasting for existing product lines.
• Main Warehouse Operations: Direct daily operations at the primary Bangkok logistics hub. Drive inventory accuracy, safety compliance (5S), and optimize KPIs for throughput and operational turnaround times.
• Nationwide Distribution: Manage reliable replenishment logistics for 17 branches across Thailand. Optimize transportation routes and 3PL/4PL performance, and implement standardized SOPs for branch transfers and damage control.
• Product Disposal Management: Enforce structured, regulatory-compliant procedures for product disposal, return processing, and asset lifecycle management.
• 2027 New Product Category Setup: Lead the strategic planning and operational readiness for a new product category scheduled for 2027. Design customized logistics solutions for bulky goods, including specialized storage, delivery vehicles, and installation workflows, while conducting feasibility studies for infrastructure expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Logistics and SCM, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing major warehouse hubs, nationwide distribution, and import/export operations in Thailand.
• Language Skills: Fluent or native Thai and professional business English. Conversational or business Korean is a strong advantage.
• Technical Competencies: In-depth knowledge of Thai Customs regulations and import licensing. Proficiency in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), backed by strong analytical skills for demand forecasting and KPI tracking.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on experience in logistics setup for bulky goods, large home appliances, or large-scale furniture.
• Demonstrated experience leading new business unit launches or new product line infrastructure projects.
• Established network with reliable local 3PL/4PL carriers and customs brokers in Thailand.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and cultural adaptability within a multinational Korean enterprise.
