Head of Operational Technology

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Operational Technology (OT) to lead our industrial digitalization and automation roadmap. As a key management team member, you will bridge the gap between Information Technology (IT) and Industrial Automation to architect, implement, and scale our Industry 4.0 (Smart Factory) initiatives. You will oversee all OT infrastructure, control systems, industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms, and OT cybersecurity measures across our facilities while leading a team of engineers and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the organization's Operational Technology (OT) strategy and roadmap.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of Automation Systems, Robotics, Industrial Control Systems, and Industrial IoT solutions.
• Oversee and maintain OT systems, including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial network infrastructure.
• Establish and strengthen OT Cybersecurity frameworks, governance, and risk management practices.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and IT teams to improve operational performance and system reliability.
• Manage technology investments, project budgets, external vendors, and strategic partners.
• Build, develop, and mentor high-performing OT and Automation teams.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of manufacturing technology platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Technology, Smart Factory, or related environments.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading large-scale automation, digital transformation, or Smart Factory projects.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Automation Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English. (Minimum TOEIC score of 550 required.)
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of MES, ERP integration, Data Analytics, AI, or Predictive Maintenance solutions.
• Experience leading IT/OT convergence initiatives.

Work Location: Primary work location at Chachoengsao (BCC2), with temporary assignment at Samut Prakan (BCC1)
