About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of People to lead the human resources function in Thailand and oversee all aspects of HR practices, administrative operations, and facility management. The Head of People will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, while partnering closely with various business leaders to foster a strong working environment and culture that attracts and retains top talent.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee all aspects of HR practices, administrative operations, and facility management to ensure smooth and efficient office functioning.
- Work with business leaders to curate a performance-driven culture through various HR tools such as talent management, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, and learning.
- Develop and implement performance management systems to drive employee performance and build developmental tracks for employees across all functions.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and legal requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage the HR team, providing direction, coaching, and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 3-4 years of prior experience leading teams overseeing the entire HR function
- Experience working in a cross-regional or multinational company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws, regulations and culture
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results
- Excellent communication skills in Chinese are a must; English and Thai are also required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience dealing with highly matrixed, fast paced structure and navigating ambiguous & dynamic environments
