Head of Procurement & Supply Chain (Chinese-Speaking).

Our client, an international manufacturing group producing decorative products for the food and confectionery industry, is looking for a hands-on leader to build and professionalize its procurement and supply chain functions

About the role

• Lead, coach and develop the team; set clear processes, approval levels and internal controls - Build sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and services
• Qualify local and international suppliers together with Quality and R&D
• Lead negotiations on price, payment terms, lead time, MOQ and contracts
• Reduce total cost of ownership while protecting quality, food safety and supply continuity
• Set up supplier scorecards, risk assessments and dual-source plans for critical materials
• Co-decide safety stocks, reorder points and inbound priorities with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance
• Coordinate inbound shipments and import documentation; cut avoidable express freight and demurrage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field - Procurement or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in food, FMCG, packaging or manufacturing
• At least 3 years leading a team
• Strong track record in negotiation, cost optimization, contract management and supplier development
• Knowledge of EU regulations relevant to food products, including food safety and supplier compliance requirements
• Good grasp of inventory planning, warehousing and inbound logistics; confident with ERP and Excel
• Thai nationality, proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
