Job Description

We are seeking a highly connected and entrepreneurial leader to scale our complex freight operations across Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.

This pivotal role requires Project Logistics leadership experience and readiness to assume immediate regional P&L ownership. You will act as the primary commercial rainmaker and operational architect. As we scale this specialized offering, we need a proactive expert who can aggressively target EPC and heavy-lift contracts, architect end-to-end solutions, and lay the strategic groundwork for future expansion across the broader Southeast Asia (SEA) cluster.

Key Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of the financial performance and profitability (P&L) for Project Logistics within the defined Indochina sub-cluster.
  • Drive and spearhead the commercial and operational strategies for breakbulk, heavy lift, and out-of-gauge shipments to achieve strong top-line and bottom-line growth.
  • Utilize an established personal network of industry contacts, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and heavy-lift carriers to actively target and secure high-value project cargo contracts.
  • Design and architect end-to-end operational solutions, identifying and onboarding reliable third-party vendors, specialized transporters, and technical partners to ensure flawless execution.
  • Manage and direct complex pricing, bidding, and tender processes for large-scale industrial projects, ensuring highly competitive yet profitable margins (GP).
  • Enforce a robust Project Logistics operational framework, setting and maintaining strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety compliance, and risk management protocols.
  • Act as the senior escalation point and project sponsor for major client accounts, personally monitoring critical cargo movements to guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to align local operational strategies with broader SEA and APAC commercial objectives, supporting the groundwork for future regional expansion.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-15+ years of extensive experience in Project Logistics, Heavy Lift, or Breakbulk forwarding.
  • For Senior Manager level: At least 3-5 years in a management or business development capacity.
  • For Director level: Proven track record in a senior leadership or business head capacity with full P&L ownership.
  • Established network of local and regional vendors, carriers, port authorities, and specialized transport operators.
  • Entrepreneurial hunter mindset, capable of operating autonomously to scale a specialized business vertical from the ground up where operational infrastructure is still evolving.
  • Advanced financial acumen with proven experience managing project budgets, profitability margins, and complex tender pricing.
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers and engineering partners.
  • Business fluency in English and Thai is mandatory.
