Head of Public Policy

Looking to shape the policy landscape behind Southeast Asia's next generation of digital infrastructure

We're partnering with a fast-growing international data center platform headquartered in Singapore, developing large-scale hyperscale campuses across Asia. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a senior Public Policy & Government Affairs leader to cover SEA.

This is a highly strategic role sitting at the intersection of government, energy, regulation and infrastructure development, with direct impact on the company's ability to secure sites, power, approvals and long-term growth.

What you'll be doing

• Lead government and regulatory engagement across Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia

• Build senior relationships with ministries, regulators, investment agencies and key policy stakeholders

• Shape regulatory strategy across data centers, energy, land, foreign investment and digital infrastructure

• Drive critical approvals, permits and investment incentives supporting new data center developments

• Advise senior leadership on policy developments, regulatory risks and market-entry strategy

• Represent the business in government-industry dialogues, associations and policy consultations

• Partner closely with Development, Legal, Power, Commercial and Country leadership teams

What we're looking for

• 12+ years in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Regulatory or Government Relations

• Strong government relationships in Malaysia, Thailand or Indonesia

• Background in data centers, technology, energy, infrastructure or large-scale real estate development

• Proven experience securing government approvals, incentives or favorable regulatory outcomes

• Strong understanding of energy/power, permitting and infrastructure development highly preferred

• Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills
