Head of Retail Leasing

One of the region's largest real estate groups is seeking an experienced Retail Leasing leader to look after their Singapore retail portfolio.

Responsibilities

You will report to the Head of Business Unit. Key responsibilities include - Lead the leasing strategy, annual business plan and budget across the portfolio, driving NLA targets, rental revenue, occupancy and tenant mix outcomes. Oversee pre-leasing for new developments, lease renewals and asset repositioning for stabilised malls. Build and manage relationships with strategic retail tenants, regional brands and master licensees, while leading commercial negotiations. Own leasing performance reporting, market intelligence, portfolio benchmarking and team leadership, partnering closely with Asset Management, Project, Legal, Finance and Facilities Management teams.

Requirements

You are possess minimum of 10 years of experience in retail leasing. You are familiar with developing lease strategies, tenant prospecting, lease negotiation and stakeholder management. You also possess in-depth knowledge of the latest retail real estate market trends and leasing practices.

To succeed in this role, you will be described as someone who is proactive, collaborative and is a problem-solver. You are also an excellent communicator and places an emphasis on building relationships with various stakeholders.
