Job Description
Reimagine How the World Experiences Eyewear
Lenskart and Owndays operate 2,000+ stores globally. We are looking for someone to rethink what those stores can be.
This is not traditional Visual Merchandising.
It is about turning stores into experience-led, commercially powerful spaces where customers can discover, understand and choose products more intuitively.
How do you make a customer feel the lightness of Air without weighing it
How do you make the versatility of Lenskart Switch instantly obvious
How do you make complex lens technology simple enough to understand without a salesperson explaining it
You will solve these problems through design, storytelling, technology and experimentation.
What You Will Own:
Product × Experience
Translate product features and customer insights into compelling physical experiences, interactive displays, demonstrations and product stories.
Phygital Retail
Explore how digital screens, smart mirrors, interactive interfaces and emerging technologies can connect the physical and digital customer journey.
Customer & Commercial Impact
Study how customers move, browse and make decisions in stores. Use conversion, dwell time, product interaction and customer feedback to test what actually changes behaviour.
Experimentation at Scale
Prototype quickly, test ideas in live stores, learn and iterate. Turn winning concepts into scalable systems that can work across 2,000+ stores and multiple markets.
Who We're Looking For:
We are deliberately not looking for a traditional VM profile.
You could come from Experience Design, Industrial Design, Retail Innovation, UX, Product, Brand Experience, Consumer Tech, Store Design or modern Visual Merchandising.
What matters is that you:
- Understand customer behaviour and physical environments deeply.
- Can connect customer insight → product → experience → commercial outcome.
- Have created and shipped real experiences, not just concepts.
- Bring strong creative judgement with a commercial mindset.
- Are comfortable with technology, data and rapid experimentation.
- Can move from a big idea to a prototype and ultimately a scalable solution.
Experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, luxury, consumer technology or other high-consideration categories is valuable.
What Success Looks Like:
Success isn't a beautiful store.
It is a customer who understands the product faster, engages more deeply and makes a more confident decision.
You will help Lenskart move from display-led retail to experience-led retail, creating a new model for how eyewear is discovered and experienced across markets.
If you see a store as a product, a customer journey and a business engine all at once, we'd like to meet you.
