Job Summary:
The Homologation Manager will lead and execute the product certification, compliance, and market access strategy for our motorcycle products in Thailand. This role requires early involvement in the product development lifecycle to define international compliance strategies and alignment with target market standards. Serving as the primary interface, the candidate will manage relations with key Thai authorities. Additionally, the role involves tracking local Thai laws to ensure the company's ongoing regulatory compliance.
This position is ideal for someone who has in-depth knowledge of Thailand's TISI motorcycle mandatory certification processes and DLT vehicle registration regulations. Excellent cross-departmental coordination and resource integration skills.

Job Requirements:
1. Core Certification Implementation: Take full responsibility for the certification of the company's motorcycles and components in the Thai market, covering key local Thai certification and market access systems such as TISI and DLT.
2. Compliance Strategy Development: Be deeply involved in product development projects, engaging early in the design phase to formulate international product compliance strategies and ensure that product designs precisely meet the regulatory and standards requirements of target markets.
3. Cross-Departmental Coordination and Oversight: Participate in cross-departmental coordination of certification requirements and progress, lead the development of certification test plans, and coordinate internal testing resources or third-party laboratories to efficiently complete all regulatory testing.
4. Audit Support and Technical Documentation Coordination: Participate in supporting market access for international markets; responsible for providing and refining key technical documents (such as technical documentation and declarations of conformity); serve as the primary point of contact to coordinate and host on-site audits and quality control system assessments of production facilities by TISI officials.
5. Risk Identification and Closure: Participate in the identification and management of certification-related risks; drive the resolution of compliance issues; and follow up on cross-functional investigations and the implementation of mechanisms to prevent recurrence.
6. Compliance Standard Development: Participate in the formulation of product consistency control requirements and assist the quality department in monitoring production consistency performance after mass production begins.
7. Regulatory Tracking and Monthly Compliance Reports: Conduct regular tracking and in-depth analysis of local Thai regulations (such as the Road Traffic Act, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and the Digital Platform Act), and regularly produce monthly regulatory compliance reports.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred;
2. At least 5 years of experience in certification within the motorcycle industry, with familiarity with product certification processes;
3. Familiarity with the certification process for Thailand's TISI mandatory motorcycle standards and DLT registration regulations. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems; proven experience successfully managing TISI factory audits independently. Ability to interpret motorcycle technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and various international and Thai test reports.
4. Excellent cross-departmental coordination and resource integration skills; candidates with experience in Thai government relations will be given preference;
5. Proficiency in English as a working language; Chinese will be an advantageous language but not a must.
