Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and assigned public areas. Ensures rooms are cleaned and prepared according to hotel standards, while providing friendly and attentive service to guests. Performs daily housekeeping duties, replenishes amenities and supplies, reports maintenance issues, and follows all hotel policies, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a comfortable and pleasant guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
Make beds, change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
Ensure guest rooms are properly cleaned, organized, and presented before guest arrival.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with hotel procedures and brand standards.
Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or unusual conditions in guest rooms to the relevant department.
Handle guest belongings with care and follow the hotel's lost and found procedures.
Respond to guest requests promptly and provide courteous and professional service at all times.
Use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely and correctly.
Maintain proper housekeeping equipment and ensure all supplies are stored appropriately.
Follow hotel policies and procedures related to safety, hygiene, security, and environmental sustainability.
Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar position in a hotel is an advantage.
Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Service-minded, friendly, and willing to assist guests.
Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties for extended periods.
Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
