Job Description

About the Role

As the Head of HR for TCL's Thailand subsidiary, you will be responsible for leading and managing all HR functions for the local entity. You will act as a strategic partner to the branch General Manager while also ensuring alignment with headquarters on global HR initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic HR planning with operational execution in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Oversee and manage all core HR functions for the Thailand branch, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, organizational design, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Lead the annual headcount planning, budgeting, and organizational restructuring exercises in collaboration with headquarters.
  • Drive key HR projects from HQ to local execution, such as employee engagement initiatives, talent review, and succession planning.

HR System & Process Development

  • Build, refine, and standardize the Thailand branch's HR systems and policies to ensure they are robust, compliant, and aligned with global standards.
  • Lead the local HR team to implement and enforce HR procedures with consistency and fairness.

Talent Acquisition

  • Own and deliver against recruitment KPIs, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring for all critical positions at the Thailand branch.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and proactively source top talent.

Compensation & Benefits Strategy

  • Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits frameworks that support business objectives and talent retention.
  • Partner with the GM to develop incentive plans that drive performance and align with branch P&L targets.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the Thailand HR team, fostering a professional, supportive, and people-centric culture.

Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Support and coordinate with legal teams on any statutory audits or compliance reviews as required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in HR and general administration functions.

Professional Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of core HR domains, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, organizational planning, employee and labor relations, training & development, performance management, HRIS, and general administration.
  • Deep knowledge of Thailand labor laws and statutory requirements.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • A reliable and responsible individual with strong ownership and integrity.
  • Excellent team player with outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong learning agility and a problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and develop a team.

Language Requirements

  • Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Thai (both written and spoken) is required.
