HRBP | Strategic Partner
At Gill Capital (Thailand) Co., Ltd, we are seeking an experienced HRBP | Strategic Partner to join our dynamic team. As our HRBP | Strategic Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring that we attract, retain and motivate top talent. This is a full-time position based in Bangkok.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership and Compensation, Benefits
- Lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations across Thailand and Cambodia, ensuring efficient processes, compliance with labor laws, and alignment with company policies.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and employee separations.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive administration, ensuring accuracy, internal equity, and competitiveness aligned with market benchmarks.
- Monitor and control headcount and manpower costs in partnership with Finance, ensuring optimal staffing for business needs.
- Act as the primary escalation point for HR-related issues, providing timely, fair, and transparent resolution.
- Ensure accurate HR data, reporting, and documentation to meet both internal and statutory requirements.
Strategic Leadership
- Partner closely with the Head of HR, Senior Leadership Team and Operation Team to align HR strategy with business objectives and the company ethos of Caring, Doing the Right Thing, and Doing It with Courage.
- Develop and execute strategic talent plans, including succession planning, leadership development, and career path frameworks.
- Lead employee engagement strategies, ensuring survey results are translated into actionable improvements across both countries.
- Oversee change management initiatives to support organizational transformation, HR digitalization, and process enhancements.
- Strengthen the employer brand through targeted initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent in the region.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Handle employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policy and labor law.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture that supports engagement, collaboration, and business growth
- Ensure full compliance with Thai and Cambodia labor laws and employment regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 58 years of progressive HR experience, with strong HR Business Partner exposure in Retail Fashion or FMCG
- Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations; regional or multi-country exposure is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
