Our client, a growing retail startup in Thailand, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead all HR functions. This role will be responsible for setting up HR fundamentals, including policies, systems, and processes, while managing HR operations such as payroll, employee welfare, recruitment, and HR development across head office and branches.
Key Responsibilities
HR Setup & Management
- Establish HR fundamentals, including policies, processes, and documentation systems.
- Develop HR structures to support business growth.
- Advise management on HR strategies and workforce planning.
Human Resource Management & Payroll
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Manage attendance, leave, compensation, overtime, social security, tax filings, and statutory reports.
- Maintain compliance with Thai labor law and PDPA requirements.
- Handle employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
- Maintain and update HR SOPs.
Employee Welfare & Engagement
- Design and oversee welfare and well-being programs, including healthcare, insurance, and engagement activities.
- Manage welfare budgets and optimize resources.
- Foster employee morale through team-building and recognition initiatives.
HR Development & Recruitment
- Develop recruitment strategies and manpower plans aligned with business goals.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes.
- Monitor recruitment metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, hiring costs).
- Plan and coordinate training programs to support employee growth.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR management, with proven ability to set up HR systems and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor law, payroll, social security, and employee benefits.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR software/tools preferred.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
