POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Manager

LOCATION: Thailand
The Big Picture (Purpose):
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a business partner for the Alliance Laundry (Thailand) Company Limited and Speed Queen Laundry (Thailand) Co., Ltd. entities. The HR Manager will be both company's change agent and employee champion using effective communication, integrated solutions and knowledge of appropriate company and legislative provisions. The role also provides operational HR support to APAC locations outside Thailand, excluding China.
What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
Primary duties:
Talent acquisition and workforce planning:
- Assist in developing and managing staffing plans, including managing the entire recruitment and hiring process as required.
- Provide guidance and input on organizational structure, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Team leadership:
- Directly supervise and develop the APAC HR team, excluding China, including workload distribution, coaching, and performance management.
Performance, learning and development:
- Drive performance management to assure expectations are clearly communicated to employees, and that employees receive the appropriate training, coaching, performance assessments, recognition and discipline, as needed and appropriate.
- Determine training needs; broker outside resources; develop and deliver in-house training directly, as needed.
- Evaluate the success of training programs and recommend additions and changes as necessary.
Employee relations and compliance:
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. May conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintain functional knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees within Thailand, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assure company and HR practices and policies are communicated, implemented and followed.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Escalate complex employee relations and compliance matters to the Director - Regional HR (APAC) as needed, while maintaining primary ownership of day-to-day HR operations for the Thailand entities and for the APAC locations within scope, excluding China.
Culture and engagement:
- Assist the Director - Regional HR (APAC) in driving the DRIVE culture at the entity level, including engagement activities, communication and recognition initiatives.
Compensation, payroll and internal control:
- Assure the company wage and salary structure and pay policies, and oversee the variable pay systems within the company, including bonuses and raises.
- Serve as the second-level (four-eyes) reviewer for payroll data processed by the external EOR/Supplier partner prior to final submission, ensuring segregation of duties in the payroll approval process.
- Own SAP goods receipt (GR) approval for HR-related purchase orders and vendor payments.
- Prepare and submit the Monthly Headcount and related Expense Forecast to the Finance/Accounting department, given that individual salary data is not visible outside HR.
HR operations and reporting:
- Administer HR processes as required.
- Prepare and route transactional forms for new hires, promotions, transfers and terminations.
- Manage the employee exit and resignation process end to end, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer planning.
- Own entity-level HR data and reporting for the Thailand entities (hiring, mobility, resignation, and engagement platform data) and Local Town Hall content.
What You Need to Bring to the Table (Experience):
Knowledge/Experience:
- Thai national, with a degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience preferred, including prior experience directly supervising HR team members.
- Prior experience overseeing or participating in payroll review and controls, particularly within an EOR or outsourced payroll environment, preferred.
