Job Description

Asia Thailand LIXIL (Thailand) PCL. Employee Assignment Not remote Full Time 13 June 2026

Responsibilities

  • Import Documentation Management:
  • Prepare, review, and manage all import documents, such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin (COO), and other necessary papers.
  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers to ensure complete and accurate shipping documents are received prior to shipment arrival.
  • Customs Clearance and Compliance:
  • Liaise closely with Customs Brokers to facilitate timely and accurate customs clearance for incoming shipments.
  • Verify Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classification and customs valuation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in customs laws, regulations, tariffs, and duties, including utilization of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) for duty privileges.
  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Coordinate with Freight Forwarders and carriers (ocean/air lines) for booking, scheduling, and shipment tracking.
  • Manage and control costs related to freight, port charges, and other import expenses.
  • Internal and External Communication:
  • Communicate with internal departments (e.g., Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance) regarding import status updates and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve issues that arise during the import process, such as shipping delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs hold-ups.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain systematic records of all import transactions and supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Prepare regular reports on import status and cost analysis as required by management.

Area Of Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations in factories located in Rangsit, and Wang Noi.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in import/export operations or logistics.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of customs procedures, import regulations, and HTS classification.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (essential for coordinating with international parties).
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and effective time management.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and possess good problem-solving skills.
