Infrastructure System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise data center hardware infrastructure.
• Manage physical compute, storage, and network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead data center capacity planning, including rack space, power, cooling, and hardware growth forecasts.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of server, storage, and networking equipment.
• Drive infrastructure refresh, modernization, and expansion projects while minimizing operational disruption.
• Partner with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on hardware procurement, support contracts, and technology roadmaps.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot hardware issues, and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventory, operational procedures, and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise data center infrastructure, server platforms, storage systems, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware platforms.
• Experience with enterprise storage technologies, rack infrastructure, cabling standards, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Understanding of data center power, cooling, physical infrastructure, and capacity planning principles.
• Hands-on experience with firmware management, hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to support business-critical systems.
