Role Description

This contract position is for an IT Project Manager / Business Analyst, based on-site in Bang Sao Thong, Samut Prakan. The role is responsible for managing IT application projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from project initiation and requirements analysis through solution design, development, testing, implementation and go-live.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary coordinator between business users, IT teams, developers, vendors, and management. The role combines project management and business analysis responsibilities to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood, translated into practical system solutions, and delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives.

Key activities include project planning and monitoring, requirements gathering and analysis, system documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk and issue management, testing and UAT support, implementation coordination, and continuous improvement of business processes and IT applications.

Job Description:

- Manage IT application projects from initiation through implementation, go-live, and post-implementation support.

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.

- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery according to agreed scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives.

- Gather, analyze, clarify, and document business and user requirements from stakeholders.

- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvement.

- Translate business requirements into clear functional and system requirements for developers and vendors.

- Prepare and maintain key project and system documentation, including:

• Business / Project Proposal
• Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Software Requirements Specification (SRS)
• Functional Specification
• System Design Documentation
• Entity-Relationship (ER) Diagram
• Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and other UML diagrams
• Business Process Flow and System Flow
• Interface and Data Flow Specifications

- Work closely with developers, technical teams, and vendors to define practical system solutions that meet business requirements.

- Act as the main liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure common understanding throughout the project lifecycle.

- Coordinate project meetings, follow up on actions, and communicate project status to management and key stakeholders.

- Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies, and coordinate appropriate resolution.

- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and UAT scripts, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business users.

- Support system testing, defect clarification, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

- Coordinate implementation, deployment, data preparation, cutover activities, and go-live support.

- Conduct or coordinate end-user training and prepare user manuals, work instructions, and operational guides.

- Ensure project and system documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained for future support and enhancement.

- Perform post-implementation reviews and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and operational efficiency.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are completed as planned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Analysis or Business Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of system design and documentation standards (e.g., SRS, ERD, UML diagrams).
• Familiar with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience in enterprise-level applications is a plus.
• Good command of English (both written and spoken).
