Role Description The Junior Human Resources Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangkok City, Thailand. This position supports daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records, updating Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes. The role includes coordinating benefits-related documentation, supporting training and development activities, and helping prepare HR reports and documentation. The Junior Human Resources Assistant will respond to employee inquiries, assist with HR communications, and collaborate with HR management to ensure policies and procedures are followed. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to confidentiality, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.

Overal Human Resources Responsibilities

People Operations

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: source candidates, schedule interviews, manage stakeholder availability, and communicate with applicants
  • Prepare employment agreements and ensure compliance with Thai labor law
  • Run onboarding for new hires: orientation, team introductions, training logistics, and liaise with IT for equipment and access setup
  • Manage offboarding: collect IT assets, issue employment/reference letters, coordinate final documentation
  • Support employee relations, insurance renewals/claims, and day-to-day HR inquiries
  • Assist the Director of People Operations with overtime calculation & data tracking, payroll inputs, invoices and leave administration for all types of resources

HRIS & Data

  • Maintain and update HRIS: employee records, leave allocation, public holidays, attendance
  • Keep the other employee databases up to date
  • Process documentation and prepare reports (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance)

Compliance & Visa

  • Research and monitor Thai employment regulations; flag risks and recommend policy updates
  • Coordinate and complete visa and work-permit processes for expats and executives (documentation, vendor liaison, 90-day reporting)

Office & Logistics

  • Oversee office maintenance, security, health and safety, and studio upkeep
  • Manage Summer Point building coordination: rules, regulations, parking, maintenance requests
  • Handle office purchasing and inventory (supplies, pantry, stationery)
  • Organize meetings, travel arrangements, local activities, and company events
  • Assist CEO/executives with administrative and personal tasks (purchasing, bookings, transport, citizenship, miscellaneous etc.)

Projects & Coordination

  • Coordinate HR projects with managers and department heads (training, surveys, workshops)
  • Support ad-hoc tasks: farewell cards, event planning (Christmas party, summits), skeleton

crew scheduling, and general research as needed

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience; international or multicultural exposure preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong English communication (written and spoken); comfortable as the primary English speaking HR contact on-site
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a lean, restructuring environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into daily workflows
  • Working knowledge of Thai labor law and statutory compliance (is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS (is a plus)
  • Project management or management experience (is a plus)
  • Experience handling visa/work-permit processes (is a plus)
