Job Description

  • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of laser welding products and laser welding machine technology in collaboration with CoC - MFT‑LWB, IPN, and laser machine suppliers (especially Trumpf).
  • Transfer basic and advanced laser welding know‑how to Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, and Production teams, ensuring correct operation, maintenance capability, and sustainable process performance.
  • Develop and deploy laser welding standardization for manufacturing and maintenance, including TPM concepts, machine daily check sheets, and work instructions (WI) to ensure stable machine condition and process robustness.
  • Support the Maintenance organization in defining strategies for critical spare parts, including coordination with Trumpf and global suppliers, to ensure fast machine recovery and minimized production impact.
  • Lead development and continuous improvement of laser welding processes to ensure manufacturing stability, including laser source upgrades and welding quality enhancement, in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and Trumpf technical support.
  • Technical leader for complex troubleshooting in laser welding processes and drive competency development for Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production teams, focusing on systematic and preventive problem solving, including engagement with Trumpf specialists if necessary.
  • Single point of contact for coordination and technical communication with Center of Competence (CoC‑LWB), IPN, and laser suppliers (Trumpf) to ensure effective knowledge exchange, standard alignment, and resolution of laser welding and soldering quality issues.

Qualifications

Education Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or other related engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of working experience inlaser welding products and laser welding machine technology.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for technical discussion, presentation, and coordination with global teams and suppliers
  • Strong capability to work cross‑functionally with Maintenance, Manufacturing and Production team.
  • Ability to act as a technical representative of the plant toward CoC, IPN, and key laser suppliers.
  • High level of responsibility, systematic working approach, and readiness to support manufacturing continuity and technology sustainability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
