About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time Lead Cloud Solution Architect position based in Bangkok, focusing on infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform. As a replacement for a key team member, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering robust cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients across the APAC region.

Main Responsibilities

• Own and drive the design of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure architectures on GCP.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical designs and implementation plans.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams through the execution of cloud deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to presales teams during solution design and proposal phases.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of cloud infrastructure implementations across customer engagements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure successful project delivery and production stability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Tridorian's cloud engineering best practices and standards.

Required Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC, and Load Balancing.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure, highly available, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and production troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automated cloud deployments.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including subnetting, routing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud environments.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or solution architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing production cloud infrastructure, preferably on GCP.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading technical implementations or architecture reviews.
• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Professional Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Network Engineer).
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure in multi-cloud or migration scenarios.
• Advanced Kubernetes administration, GitOps, or platform engineering experience.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Experience supporting infrastructure for AI/ML workloads or emerging technologies.

You'll be joining Tridorian's Engineering organization, a dynamic part of our Services Department. This role is a crucial component of the InfraSecOps team, with close collaboration across Data Operations, pre-sales, sales, and delivery stakeholders throughout the APAC region.
