Legal and Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advisory and compliance support for international banking and financial business operations.
• Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop, review, and update internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to align with regulatory standards.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support business units on legal documentation, contracts, and regulatory-related matters.
• Liaise with regulators, external legal advisors, and internal stakeholders on compliance and legal issues.
• Assist in regulatory reporting, audits, and inspections.
• Identify emerging regulatory trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization through training and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in law (LL.M. or equivalent) is required: Degree from an international university is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in legal and compliance management, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and legal practices.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new regulatory and business environments.
