About Kreston BLAS
Kreston BLAS Advisory Co., Ltd. is the accounting and advisory arm of Kreston Thailand. Our services include deal support, corporate secretarial work, company setup, Board of Investment and Foreign Business License applications, work permits, visas, and legal advisory support for international and multinational companies operating in Thailand.
Role Summary
This role supports clients on corporate and commercial legal matters and reviews the firm's own client-facing contracts. It is an advisory and transactional role within a professional services firm, not a litigation role or a law firm position. The work is performed alongside our accounting, tax, and CFO teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and draft engagement letters, service proposals, non-disclosure agreements, and collaboration agreements between the firm and clients or partners
- Advise clients on company setup, corporate secretarial matters, and post-incorporation changes under Thai law
- Prepare and manage Foreign Business License and Board of Investment applications
- Draft and review contracts for client transactions, including share purchase agreements and shareholder agreements for deal support engagements
- Liaise with the Department of Business Development, the Board of Investment, and the Ministry of Labour on client matters
- Flag legal risk, enforceability issues, and missing standard terms in incoming contracts and advise on redlines
- Support cross-border structuring and transaction advisory work as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws or equivalent Thai law qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, in a law firm, in-house legal team, or professional services firm
- Working knowledge of the Foreign Business Act, Board of Investment regulations, and Thai labour and immigration law as it applies to work permits and visas
- Fluent in Thai and English, spoken and written
- Experience reviewing service agreements, engagement letters, NDAs, and commercial contracts in English is preferred.
- Comfortable working directly with clients, not only producing internal legal opinions
- Thai Bar license preferred
Interested candidates should submit their CV and a brief cover note outlining relevant corporate, commercial, or professional services experience.
