Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle and support duty drawback (Section 29) processes to ensure accurate tax refunds.
  • Review and manage import/export documents (Entry, Invoice, Packing List) for customs compliance.
  • Support and utilize trade preferences such as Form E and Form D for duty exemptions.
  • Coordinate and follow up duty refund processes closely with Customs authorities.
  • Use e-Tracking systems to monitor shipment and tax refund status.
  • Support tariff classification (HS Code) verification for raw materials and chemical items.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with Customs laws and regulations.
  • Work with production teams to understand BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing processes for regulatory clarification.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, shipping agencies, customs brokers, and relevant authorities.clarification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Customs Duty Drawback (Section 29) and import-export operations.
  • Good understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) or manufacturing processes (Highly Advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of import-export procedures, HS Code classification, Form E, and Form D.
  • Good command of English
  • Detail-oriented, strong coordination skills, and able to work independently to solve problems effectively.
  • Employees are required to arrange their own transportation. The company does not provide a shuttle service.
