LLE Assistant Manager – Data Centre Projects

Location: Thailand

We are currently seeking an experienced LLE Assistant Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data centre projects in Thailand.

This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery, installation, integration and commissioning of Long Lead Equipment (LLE) and prefabricated MEP systems. The position will act as a key interface between overseas manufacturing facilities, logistics partners, project teams, MEP subcontractors and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prefab Logistics & Supply Chain

• Coordinate with overseas prefabrication factories, suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Manage end-to-end logistics, including route planning, shipping, customs clearance and delivery schedules.
• Monitor equipment shipments and proactively resolve potential delays to support project milestones.
• Coordinate just-in-time delivery in line with the overall construction programme.

Factory & Manufacturing Oversight

• Review shop drawings, fabrication models and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Monitor manufacturing progress and ensure equipment is produced in accordance with project specifications.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and ensure quality requirements are met prior to shipment.
• Ensure appropriate packaging, labelling and documentation for international transportation and site handling.

Site Installation & Integration

• Coordinate with construction and MEP teams on equipment delivery, offloading, storage and staging.
• Support lifting and installation planning for prefabricated MEP modules.
• Supervise installation and integration activities to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Troubleshoot technical and installation issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.

Commissioning & Handover

• Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning and system validation.
• Ensure prefabricated systems meet reliability, quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering FAT/SAT records, shipping documentation, delivery records, as-built information and commissioning data.
• Support the successful handover of completed systems to Operations and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP, engineering, construction or related project environments.
• Experience with prefabricated, modular or off-site manufactured MEP systems is highly preferred.
• Experience coordinating equipment or components manufactured overseas is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems; an electrical engineering background is advantageous.
• Exposure to FAT, SAT and commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of international logistics, shipping and customs procedures is preferred.
• Strong project coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or other complex MEP environments will be advantageous.
• Fluency in Thai, English and Mandarin is essential.
