Description
We are seeking experienced Mainframe Developers to join our teams in Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in mainframe technologies and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of mainframe applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Document technical specifications and user manuals for applications.
- Monitor and optimize application performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-9 years of experience in mainframe development and support.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 databases.
- Familiarity with CICS and VSAM.
- Understanding of mainframe operating systems and environments.
- Ability to work with mainframe tools like Endevor or CA-7.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
