The Manager of Preview Centre's key responsibilities include ensuring the Preview Centre Team attains defined revenue targets, recruitment, training, development and retention of Vacation Consultant; external and internal customer satisfaction; and maintaining a positive relationship within the community.
The key management objective is to achieve a budgeted revenue volume while ensuring overhead expenses are maintained within or below budgeted parameters.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the profitability of the Preview Centre by exceeding revenue targets, at or below budgeted costs,
- Assist the Director of Preview Centre in the overall management of the Preview centre including the development, training and mentoring of any Presentations Team Leader and Vacation Consultant,
- Ensure that the appropriate number and quality of Vacation Consultants is sufficient at all times to meet budgeted Guest tours. Take responsibility for the recruitment activity, training, development and performance measures of Vacation Consultants as appropriate,
- Develop, maintain and enhance AVC's culture in all facets of the Preview Centres operation, while building strong and ethical team values,
- Coordinate and supervise the initial induction and training program with new Vacation Consultants to ensure they have a complete understanding of the presentations process and the AVC Points product,
- Assist in and/or conduct the daily general meetings prior to the wave of the day, ensuring the content delivers a strong motivational message(s) to ensure high energy, passion and enthusiasm are the key drivers of all Vacation Consultants as they commence their work day,
- Practise the praise in public, chastise in private principal in leading the team,
- Conduct regular and one-on-one training and performance reviews with Vacation Consultants, and instigate the company performance management program to ensure all Vacation Consultants are achieving their individual revenue targets,
- Supervise the daily operational aspects of the Preview Centre's Floor through active management participation,
- Actively assist in closing for Vacation Consultants and be available on the floor during presentations operational waves,
- Assist and/or supervise regular (minimum weekly) team training sessions of all Vacation Consultants on selected aspects of the presentation, or other motivational, instructional topics, with the objective of ensuring the delivery and integrity of the presentation process is not compromised or deviated from. Ensure there is consistency with AVC's approved training, development and motivational programs,
- Ensure all Vacation Consultants are able to see their actual production versus their weekly/ period goals,
- Maintain high standards and professional leadership, inspire, motivate and be an active participant in the floor supervision during presentation times,
- Manage in a timely manner any Guest concerns or complaints either at the front desk or in conjunction with any relevant departments i.e. Marketing, Club Operations,
- Monitor and manage the performance of individuals daily in accordance with agreed minimum performance standards and exercise disciplinary action within Company guidelines as necessary,
- Ensure Vacation Consultants adhere to all company and any regulatory compliance requirements and policies, at all times to ensure the Customer Experience and the brand integrity of Anantara and the Minor Group of Companies is not compromised. Monitor that all Vacation Consultants represent the company in an ethical, moral and professional manner at all times,
- Ensure that positive reinforcement and recognition is a regular part of your daily interaction with Vacation Consultants and administration staff. Mediate, counsel and resolve in a timely manner any issues staff to ensure the attitude and mood of the team is harmonious with a spirit of cooperation with all staff assisting one another for a win-win situation,
- Actively encourage Referral Lead Harvesting to meet referral lead generation production targets, Promote good working relationships between your Preview Centre and all other departments within AVC and the Minor group of companies,
- Ensure that all Vacation Consultants are fully supportive of the companies marketing programs,
- Ensure that Preview Centre facilities, property and assets are maintained to a high standard at all times, and are secured.
- Meet all budgeted financial targets and efficiencies in terms of revenues, costs and profitability of the Preview Centre,
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction,
- Development, mentoring and retention of Vacation Consultants, for career advancement opportunities to future and/or other leadership positions within the company.

- Ability to analyse and interpret trends in numerical and fiscal performance reports,
- Strong sales closing ability,

- Ability to effectively select personnel (recruiting-interviewing-hiring),
- Ability to accurately evaluate Vacation Consultants performance levels,

- Ability to focus on the situation, issue, or behaviour rather than the person, and to manage Vacation Consultants professionally at all times,
- Knowledge and application of AVC's presentations methodology

- A minimum of at least six months experience as a sales manager and/or two-year's experience as an assistant sales manager or senior level sales executive, preferably with a multi-site company offering a Points based product,
- No documented record of serious misconduct, misrepresentation, or breaching of sales and/or company policies,
- Tertiary or University education desirable, though not a requirement.
