The Marketing Manager is expected to lead the marketing team to build brand strength and generate demand through impactful programs that drive sales growth. Monitor and enhance dealers marketing effectiveness, ensuring strong execution, consistent brand positioning, and measurable contribution to sales targets.
Your Mission
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
- Develop, monitor, and recommend continuous improvement on sales & marketing processes, plans, customer satisfaction, etc., to increase sales achievement
- Manage analysis and evaluation of market trends, competitor activities, etc. Guide prioritization of marketing plans according to changing markets and competitive conditions
- Strategize product communication activities, launches, exhibitions, media relations activities, etc. to drive awareness of products/services
- Employ innovative sales strategies, including using digital tools and social media
Team management:
- Recruit, coach, and mentor marketing team to achieve full potential
- Motivate, inspire, and engage marketing team on their communication and engagement of customers & distributors to build good relationships and lead to closing of sales.
- Develop, execute, and monitor capability development plans and initiatives to drive sales and marketing excellence
- Lead regular marketing team meetings and update relevant departments on operational progress.
- Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example
Team performance settings & monitoring:
- Cascade and monitor the achievement of key performance indicators. Evaluate team performance gaps and requirements for improvement
- Lead and monitor progress of marketing activities for assigned businesses / territories. Identify and implement customized solutions based on changing markets and trends
- Lead development of marketing plans (workshops, training, congresses...) and critically evaluate implementation effectiveness to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies. Evaluate key marketing expenditures and budget vs actual variances
- Review sales reports and analysis. Evaluate sales trends/forecasts and form meaningful conclusions to facilitate strategic decisions
- Closely monitor dealers performance to ensure alignment with our internal strategies
Team support:
- Maintaining relationships with important clients & distributors by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new opportunities
- Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, congresses, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining professional network
- Lead the specification review, configurations, pricing, discounts, and contract terms negotiation to facilitate sales agreements
- Manage complex customer issues and recommend preventive actions to minimize future incidents
Collaboration with Support Services:
- Provide accurate and timely inputs to finance reports when required
- Collaborate and align with regional marketing team, get resources, translate regional directions, plan to local executions.
- Follow up orders to identify potential delivery delays
- Follow up with Regulatory Affairs the status of all product registrations to ensure compliance with import process
- Work closely with HR on recruitment process
- Work closely with Legal & Compliance officer on all sales & marketing company binding documents (Sales contracts, Sponsorship agreements...)
Your Talents
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or life sciences, MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
- 8-10 years in industry with 3-5 years experience in a similar role in a managerial capacity.
