Our client is an established dance education studio dedicated to nurturing confidence, creativity, discipline, and personal growth through the performing arts.
Offering programmes for dancers of various ages and experience levels, the studio provides recreational, examination, performance, and competitive pathways within a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
As the studio continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join the team and support daily operations, student experiences, and programme coordination.
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, outgoing, and organised Marketing Operations Executive to support the studio's marketing activities, social media presence, customer engagement, and daily operations.
You will be involved in creating engaging content, promoting dance programmes, supporting marketing campaigns, and connecting with prospective students and families. You will also help maintain a welcoming studio environment and ensure visitors have a positive experience.
This role is ideal for entry level individuals who enjoy social media, content creation, interacting with people, and gaining hands-on experience in marketing and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Assist in managing the studio's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
- Create engaging content such as photos, short-form videos, Reels, Stories, and promotional posts.
- Capture photos and videos of classes, rehearsals, performances, and studio activities for marketing purposes.
- Write engaging captions and schedule social media posts to maintain a consistent online presence.
- Stay updated on social media trends and contribute creative ideas to improve engagement and brand visibility.
- Assist with basic photo and video editing using tools such as Canva and CapCut.
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to promote dance classes, trial programmes, workshops, and studio events.
- Assist in creating marketing materials, including posters, flyers, digital advertisements, and promotional content.
- Brainstorm creative ideas to attract new students and increase awareness of the studio's programmes.
- Support promotional activities such as open houses, trial classes, seasonal campaigns, and community outreach.
- Assist with coordinating collaborations, partnerships, and other marketing opportunities.
- Monitor basic campaign performance, social media engagement, and enquiries to identify areas for improvement.
Customer Engagement & Enrolment Support
- Attend to enquiries from prospective students and parents through WhatsApp, phone calls, emails, social media, and in-person interactions.
- Introduce the studio's programmes and provide information on classes, schedules, and trial sessions.
- Follow up with prospective students and families to encourage trial bookings and enrolments.
- Assist with trial class arrangements, registrations, and enrolment administration.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents to support customer satisfaction and retention.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with management to improve the studio experience.
Studio Operations & Front-of-House Support
- Manage the studio's front-of-house area and welcome students, parents, and visitors.
- Ensure the studio remains clean, organised, presentable, and ready for daily classes.
- Assist with opening and closing arrangements, classroom preparation, and basic facility upkeep.
- Coordinate room usage and ensure classes and activities run smoothly.
- Monitor studio supplies and report maintenance or facility-related issues when necessary.
- Provide on-site support to instructors, students, and parents during studio operating hours.
Events & Community Engagement
- Assist in promoting and coordinating studio events, performances, competitions, workshops, and open houses.
- Support event preparations, including promotional materials, registrations, schedules, and logistics.
- Capture event highlights and create post-event content for social media.
- Engage with students, parents, and the wider dance community to strengthen the studio's brand presence.
Requirements
- Entry level candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Arts Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or other content creation tools is an advantage.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute new marketing and content ideas.
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with students, parents, and visitors.
- Good communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to take on both marketing and operational responsibilities.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a small team.
- Interest in dance, performing arts, education, or enrichment programmes is an advantage.
- Able to work on weekends based on the studio's operating schedule.
Other Information
- 6 months traineeship (with possible Full-Time conversion after the 6 months)
