Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in machine design, automation equipment, tooling, fixtures, or manufacturing-equipment development.
- Proficient in developing 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or another EDE-approved tool.
- Able to interpret and apply engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, fits, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, sensors, actuators, linear motion, motors, bearings, fasteners, and machine guarding.
- Familiarity with safety equipment design standards such as SOP39 and SEMI.
- Able to support design reviews, equipment builds, debug, qualification, engineering changes, and controlled document release.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, teamwork, and service-oriented skills.
- Passed applicable Seagate security screening and accepted by EDE.
Mandatory Skills
