Job Description

Automation to design, develop and implement automated machinery and production system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative mechanical solutions, optimize manufacturing processes and ensure equipment reliability and performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical systems and components for automation equipment and production lines.
  • Develop 3D models and engineering drawings using Solid Works CAD software.
  • Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance analysis and material selections.
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls and software engineers to integrate mechanical and automation systems.
  • Support the assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of automated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions and preventive actions.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions and maintenance manual.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and oversee fabrication.
  • Continuously improve equipment performance, reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Own equipment and fixtures, Lead FAT/SAT & installation.
  • Performs others task as maybe assign by Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation equipment or machine design
  • Understanding of automation systems, robotics, conveyors and motion controls
  • Proficiency in CAD software preferably in Solid Works
  • Familiarity with GD&T DFMA and engineering standards
  • Familiarity with GD&T DFMA and engineering standards
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Required Skill:

  • Experience with industrial robots and automated assembly systems
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors and industrial control systems
  • Knowledge of finite element and analysis (FEA) and simulation tools
  • Familiarity with industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concept
