Mechanical Engineer - Data Center (Thailand)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer - Data Center(Thailand) to manage and optimize mechanical infrastructure operations within a data center environment. The role focuses on cooling systems, operational procedures, risk management, client SLAs, and reliable day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical systems and infrastructure across data center facilities.
• Oversee air/liquid cooling systems, HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and cooling towers.
• Develop and implement SOP, EOP and MOP procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with hyperscale/enterprise clients to meet infrastructure performance and SLA requirements.
• Conduct RCA for mechanical incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Manage vendors and contractors to ensure quality, safety, and performance.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives, budgeting, reporting, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data centers.
• 2–3 years of experience in installation/operation of mechanical cooling systems.
• Experience supporting hyperscale or large enterprise customers.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, mechanical safety, and energy efficiency.
• Hands-on experience developing and implementing SOP, EOP & MOP.
• Strong risk assessment and mitigation experience.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and LEED requirements.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing mechanical layouts and schematics.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
