Mechanical Manager - Data Center (Thailand)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing and fire suppression systems.
• Lead the mechanical engineering team and ensure safe, reliable and efficient data center operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Work closely with electrical, facilities and operations teams.
• Manage vendors, service contracts, budgets and outsourced maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA and local regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, manage emergencies and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Monitor system performance and prepare maintenance/operation reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, cooling towers, plumbing and fire suppression systems.
• Experience with BMS, PUE optimization and energy efficiency.
• Familiar with ASHRAE, NFPA and relevant local codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar engineering software.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and vendor management skills.
• PE license or equivalent certification is an advantage.
