- Build a high-performing team.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and drive Thailand plants business growth through migration projects and NPI execution.
- Manage supplier/commodity strategy, optimize sourcing processes
Strategy
- Develop Thailand procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
- Develop and implement category strategies for key components
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and technology roadmaps
- Lead make-vs-buy and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
- Lead transfer projects and meet KPIs (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Development)
- Drive timely NPI execution
- Accelerate RFQ, quoting, and business decision processes
- Identify cost reduction opportunities
- Develop scalable supplier ecosystem in SEA region
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers
- Build long-term strategic supplier partnerships
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing and contracts
- Drive cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE, should-cost modeling)
- Manage budgets and deliver cost targets
- Build and develop a high-performing team
- Coach and upskill team members
- Promote teamwork and continuous improvement in culture
- Partner with engineering, operations, and product teams during NPI
- Influence design decisions for cost and manufacturability
- Support demand planning and inventory optimization
- Identify supply risks such as single sourcing and shortages
- Develop mitigation plans including dual sourcing strategies
- Manage supplier capacity during constraints
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (RoHS, REACH)
- Maintain ethical sourcing standards and company policies
What your background should look like
- Bachelor's degree or above (Engineering preferred)
- 12+ years of sourcing experience in plastics, stamping, plating, machining, Cable/PCBA/PCB experience is a plus
- High Speed Cable/Cable/Connector industry experience preferred
- 8+ years of global/regional sourcing experience preferred
- 5+ years souring manager experience, additional people management experience in SQE/Supply Chian is a plus
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, present capability
- Cross-functional collaboration capability
- Familiar with SAP and MS Office
- Integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation
