Mold Tool Design Engineer (Able to work Sep 2026)

Job Description

• Technical project lead and design new tool,follow-up tools,relocation tools, release and correction process as well as new variants.
• Create specification sheets, evaluate measurement report, create correction strategies and follow tool release process.
• Tooling improvement e.g. design improvement for series production or maintainability.
• Tooling problem solving and 8D report support.
• Technical supplier discussion e.g. spare part, new tool order, tool correction.

Qualifications

Education Background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tooling, Mechanical, Plastic Engineering, or other related fields.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Professional experience in plastic mold industry, mold tools design and release.
• CAD software preferably NX, Professional evaluation of 3D scan preferably GOM, Basic moldflow simulation.
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication skills to reach out to customer/partners and internal.
