Job Description

Responsibilities :

Configure, administer, and support Cisco LAN Switches and Aruba Wireless Access Points in enterprise environments. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability of LAN and WLAN infrastructure. Implement VLANs, routing, switching, wireless configurations, and network security policies. Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of Cisco switches and Aruba wireless controllers/access points. Work with cross-functional teams to support network-related incidents, changes, and project deployments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Exposure to enterprise-scale campus networks and wireless deployments. Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL preferred). Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Aruba ACMA/ACMP are preferred. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

Experience in LAN and Wireless Network Administration. Hands-on experience with Cisco LAN Switches (Catalyst/Nexus) and Aruba Wireless Access Points/Controllers. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, DHCP, DNS, Routing & Switching concepts. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks. Knowledge of wireless technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, RF management, and WLAN security. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Prime Infrastructure, Aruba AirWave, or equivalent. Understanding of network security concepts including ACLs, NAC, and port security.
