Role Description The Network Engineer will work on-site in the Nong Suea district under a contract arrangement, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and reliable network infrastructures. Day-to-day activities include configuring and managing network devices, monitoring performance, troubleshooting connectivity and security issues, and ensuring high availability across local and wide area networks. The role involves collaborating with IT consultants and development teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems, documenting configurations and changes, and contributing to capacity planning and network optimization efforts. The Network Engineer will also assist in implementing best practices for network security, backup, and disaster recovery to support client operations.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system architecture.
• Skills in Software Development and Programming for scripting, automation, and integration of network tools and services.
• Experience with Back-End Web Development to support network-dependent applications, APIs, and server-side services.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to design maintainable and scalable automation or support tools.
• Practical experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies, as well as TCP/IP and other core network protocols.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network performance and security issues using relevant monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams on-site.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+) are an advantage.
