Operations and Maintenance Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily O&M activities for renewable energy plants, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Lead and support a team of technicians, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Implement maintenance plans, preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and analyze plant performance data, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring necessary adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to maintain reliable service and high-quality standards.
• Prepare and present reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and improvement plans.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost-effective O&M operations.
• Work with the project construction team to support commissioning and transition of new plants to O&M.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Age range: 25–35 years, with experience in the power business, including at least 2 years in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly solar and wind.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and providing leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly, prepare detailed reports and documentation, deliver presentations, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multinational environment.
