Responsible for managing and controlling all warehouse and logistics operations-both land and marine-efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with organizational requirements, standards, and objectives.
Manage and supervise subordinates to ensure the effective implementation of all standard systems, including quality, safety and occupational health, energy management, and environmental management systems, in order to achieve the established goals and meet both legal and organizational requirements.
Implement management policies to ensure that operations staff working in the warehouse achieve the required performance standards in both work behaviors and job effectiveness, according to their roles and responsibilities.
Execute management policies related to improving operational processes, services, and products by procuring tools and technologies that enhance the efficiency of operations and logistics functions.
Oversee operational management to effectively support the organization's production of goods and services with maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
Responsible for operational execution and designing production processes to support new business development and project work, as defined by management policies and organizational direction.
Responsible for managing, controlling, and overseeing warehouse safety, as well as ensuring the safe transportation of company products, including supervising personnel at all sites to work safely and without accidents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineer or related fields.
Bachelor's degree in other related fields with experience in factory operations or directly in chemical manufacturing.
Experience in a managerial position.
At least 8 years of experience working in factory operations.
At least 10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of basic accounting for income and expenses.
Proficient in computer usage.
Strong leadership skills and good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and understanding of Engineering principles.
Knowledge and understanding of HSE.
Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Knowledge and understanding of relevant rules, regulations, and laws.
Holds a Professional Engineering License at the Professional Engineer level.
