Job Description

Role Overview:

Looking for experienced Oracle Exadata DBA – L3 Engineer to manage and support OCI and On-Premises Exadata environments, handle complex production issues, performance tuning, HA/DR, patching, upgrades, and database stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer Oracle Exadata, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, RMAN and GoldenGate.

Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, backup/recovery and DR activities.

Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, RAC, GoldenGate and Data Guard issues.

Analyze AWR/ADDM reports and perform SQL/performance tuning.

Support OCI Exadata, ExaCS/ExaCC and On-Prem Exadata.

Handle L3 incidents, RCA, change management and production troubleshooting.

Automate routine DBA activities using Shell scripting.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata & RAC.

Expertise in ASM, Grid Infrastructure, RMAN, Data Guard and GoldenGate.

Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning.

Experience with OCI Exadata / ExaCS / ExaCC.

Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Shell scripting.

Understanding of HA/DR, backup/recovery, security and RPO/RTO.
