Patient Care Counsellor (PCC)

About the Role

AMSEL Biohealth Center is looking for a professional, empathetic, and highly organized Patient Care Counsellor (PCC) to join our team. The PCC is the primary relationship manager for patients, guiding them from initial inquiry and consultation through treatment, discharge, and follow-up. This role combines patient care, communication, coordination, education, and commercial awareness to deliver a seamless and personalized patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Relations & Consultation

• Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries.

• Explain AMSEL's assessments, therapies, treatments, and personalized programs clearly and

professionally.

• Coordinate doctor consultations and ensure medical records are prepared in advance.

• Support patients in making informed decisions with empathy and professionalism.

• Seek guidance from doctors and therapists when medical clarification is required.

Treatment Plan & Schedule Coordination

• Explain the doctor's Plan of Care and translate it into a clear treatment schedule.

• Prepare and communicate treatment cost estimates accurately and promptly.

• Coordinate schedules between doctors, nurses, therapists, and other clinical staff.

• Assist international patients with practical arrangements before and during their stay.

Patient Onboarding

• Provide every new patient with a professional, calm, and well-organized welcome experience.

• Explain daily treatment schedules, therapy flow, clinic procedures, and timelines.

• Coordinate information regarding nutrition and supplement protocols with the Holistic Nutritionist and

Nursing Team.

• Educate patients about AMSEL therapies when required, including IV therapies, EBOO and Ozone,

Hyperthermia, Oncology Support, PEMF/Bemer/Frequency therapies, Infrared Sauna, Colon

Hydrotherapy, Lymphatic Therapies, and Detoxification Protocols.

Ongoing Patient Care

• Act as the main liaison between patients, doctors, nurses, and the Holistic Nutritionist.

• Monitor patient experience and proactively address concerns.

• Support patients, families, and companions throughout their stay.

• Coordinate treatment schedules and adjustments smoothly.

• Reinforce patients understanding of treatment goals and lifestyle protocols.

Discharge & Follow-Up

• Begin discharge planning approximately one week before program completion.

• Coordinate follow-up appointments and continued care plans.

• Ensure patients receive complete records and appropriate supplement and medication guidance.

• Support transitions to local doctors when required.

• Maintain a structured post-discharge follow-up schedule.

• Coordinate ongoing maintenance and continued-care programs.
