Plant Manager (1-Tier Automotive)

About Our Client

Our client is an established manufacturer of precision plastic components and molds, supplying automotive and electrical appliance OEMs. They are seeking a Plant Manager to take full ownership of plant operations.

Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will:

• Lead full plant operations across production, maintenance, and engineering, with oversight of quality and supply chain
• Own production planning and scheduling to meet output and delivery targets
• Manage mold maintenance, tooling, and new mold development with internal and external partners
• Drive KPIs including scrap rate, OEE, productivity, and delivery performance
• Maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and customer-specific requirements
• Build and develop a team of supervisors, engineers, and technicians
• Embed continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen, and 5S

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Polymer Technology
• Proven experience in plastic injection molding, mold making, or automotive parts manufacturing at management level
• Strong command of molding processes, tooling management, quality systems, and cost control
• Experience leading multi-shift production teams
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
