What You'll Do

The Leader is responsible for leading, directing, and managing operational strategies to ensure the achievement of divisional objectives. This role develops and establishes organizational policies and goals, reviews reports and financial statements to monitor progress, and adjusts plans in response to changing conditions. The incumbent oversees operations to maximize return on investment and is accountable for developing and executing functional plans aligned with the corporate Business and Strategic Plans. The Senior Leader implements company procedures and policies to support enterprise-wide business objectives and is responsible for developing, coaching, mentoring, and training personnel to ensure the organization's ongoing success.

As a Plant Manager you will:

  • Develop the organizational structure to execute manufacturing plans in support of corporate strategic objectives, including participation in short-term and long-term goal setting.
  • Ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and inventory and shipment levels are maintained appropriately.
  • Direct material flow and labor utilization to achieve production and quality targets at optimal cost.
  • Oversee operations across all assigned departments, providing guidance to managers and supervisors.
  • Project a positive image to peers, subordinates, customers, industry partners, and the community by delivering cost-effective, high-quality products in a productive environment.
  • Lead the planning, preparation, monitoring, and forecasting of departmental capital and expense budgets.
  • Facilitate intradepartmental collaboration to support smooth workflow and cost-efficient production.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction by reducing delinquencies, ensuring on-time delivery, and meeting quality and cost expectations; proactively engage with customers to address their needs.
  • Direct the implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies to support company goals.
  • Manage inventory planning to meet corporate and customer objectives.
  • Ensure manufacturing safety, providing a safe and adequate working environment.
  • Conduct performance management activities, including employee evaluations and recommendations for hiring or releasing personnel in accordance with company policy and production requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to achieve business productivity goals.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Manufacturing Management, Engineering, or Business Administration required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 7 years of supervisory and management experience required.
  • Strong leadership in a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Experience in automotive, industrial, machinery, or metal manufacturing
  • Strong capability in Lean, TPS, Kaizen, process improvement
  • Experience leading cross-functional plant functions
  • Strong English communication
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization
  • Exposure to electronics licensing and/or hand tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technology adoption in manufacturing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, delegation, and organizational skills; ability to motivate personnel and work under pressure.
  • Effective time and project management capabilities.
