Platform Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Support cloud-hosted applications to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Monitor platform health through logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, audit, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support platform operations and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and operational support.
• Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting enterprise or government systems.
