We are seeking a highly experienced
Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, code, test and delivery of scalable, cloud-native agentic platform on AWS while leveraging AI-assisted software development tools to significantly accelerate engineering productivity and software delivery. This role combines deep technical expertise, engineering leadership, and innovation in applying AI-powered development practices across the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead application design, and software development of large-scale platform on AWS.
- Lead technical design and coding reviews, application dependencies, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Lead the delivery of critical projects with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership with minimal direction.
- Enforce best practices for cloud-native development, microservices, and domain-driven and event-driven architectures.
- Act as a technical authority across multiple teams, guiding design decisions and ensuring long-term scalability and reliability.
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, testing automation, code review assistants) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Evaluate emerging AI engineering tools and define standards for their safe, secure, and effective use.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and feedback loops to improve delivery speed and system reliability.
- Enable rapid experimentation and iteration using modern engineering practices.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and security teams to align solutions with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a lead/principal engineering role.
- Proven hands-on experience as a technical lead building scalable distributed systems in AWS production environments.
- Experience with micro-services architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in modern programming languages (e.g. Java or Python or JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, system design, system test and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, code LLMs, automated testing AI tools).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven a positive and high-energy personal commitment with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with data engineering, machine learning, or AI technologies is considered an advantage.
