Process Engineer

Position: Process Engineer, Mid-End role (Mechanical Engineering background) – up to 65k THB/ month

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to drive stability, yield, and continuous improvement in advanced manufacturing processes in the Mid-End section. This role focuses on electrode casting and unit cell assembly, working closely with equipment, automation, and cross-functional teams to move processes from development into stable, scalable production.

You will be deeply involved in day-to-day process control, troubleshooting, and data-driven improvement in a fast-paced, high-technology manufacturing environment.

Your Role

• Troubleshoot electrode casting and unit cell assembly processes and equipment
• Optimize vision systems for electrode alignment and defect inspection
• Conduct process and equipment capability studies using Six Sigma methods
• Work hands-on with manufacturing equipment to define optimal process parameters
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation, PLCs, and control systems
• Plan and execute engineering trials; analyze data and recommend improvements
• Lead continuous improvement projects to improve yield, quality, and robustness
• Collaborate with product and quality teams to define process and product specs
• Perform process variation studies and support corrective/preventive actions
• Work with equipment vendors on new tools and proof-of-concept development
• Create and maintain SOPs for powder, slurry, and related processes
• Train and guide operators on daily process execution

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–5 years experience in manufacturing process engineering
• Hands-on experience with:
• Electrode casting or roll-to-roll web processes
• Laser cutting, heat lamination, or precision alignment
• Automation equipment and control systems
• Solid understanding of:
• PLCs and industrial control systems
• Vision inspection systems and laser sensor technology
• Web tension control in continuous manufacturing
• Experience scaling processes from lab pilot volume production
• Strong background in continuous improvement
• Lithium-ion battery or semiconductor manufacturing experience is a strong plus
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
• Fluent inThai and English (spoken and written)
• Action-oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
