Procurement Manager

(Execution & Market Operations Focus)

Role Summary

The Procurement Office Manager is responsible for executing procurement activities across renewable energy projects, managing supplier relationships, overseeing contract implementation, and leading the procurement team on a daily operational basis.

This role ensures contracts are executed properly, logistics are controlled, audits are supported, and market intelligence is continuously monitored. Strategic sourcing direction and overall procurement strategy remain defined by the Head of Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Execution & Supplier Management

  • Execute sourcing processes and purchase orders in line with defined procurement strategy.
  • Manage commercial negotiations for project-related contracts and variations.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure supplier compliance with agreed terms.
  • Support dispute resolution and claims management where required.
  • Maintain structured documentation of contracts, amendments, and commercial correspondence.

2. Procurement Operations & Market Monitoring

  • Track market developments, pricing trends, and supplier performance across key equipment categories.
  • Maintain supplier database including production locations, certifications, audit results, and financial overview.
  • Ensure accurate procurement reporting, cost tracking, and delivery status updates.
  • Coordinate logistics processes (import/export, shipping schedules, Incoterms understanding).
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams to align procurement execution with project timelines.

3. Team Management

  • Lead and coordinate the procurement office team.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor workload, and ensure structured execution of procurement processes.
  • Develop team capabilities in contract administration, supplier communication, and compliance documentation.

4. Audit, Compliance & ESG Support

  • Support internal and external audits (quality, ESG, financial, supplier audits).
  • Ensure proper documentation for ISO-related processes and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor supplier compliance regarding ESG, safety, and corporate governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 710 years of procurement experience in Renewable Energy, Electrical Equipment, Utilities, or infrastructure-related sectors.
  • Strong experience in contract execution and supplier management (EPC exposure preferred but not mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of international trade, logistics, and import/export processes.
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance processes.
  • Good understanding of market price dynamics and supplier structures.

Language Requirements

  • Professional working proficiency in Chinese.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Thai language skills are a strong advantage.
