About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Overseas Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and logistics supply chain operations across the South East Asia region. This role will play a key part in supplier development, cost optimization, quality assurance, and cross-border coordination, supporting the company's global supply chain strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Development & Management
- Conduct in-depth market research in SEA region and build a robust local supplier network, including warehousing, customs clearance, and transportation service providers.
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contract signing, and long-term relationship management in line with company policies.
- Regularly assess supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery timelines) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Procurement Execution & Cost Control
- Develop procurement plans, oversee order execution, and ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize procurement costs through price benchmarking, centralized coordination, and localized sourcing alternatives.
- Manage supplier-related risks and handle urgent or unexpected supply issues with effective contingency solutions.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with domestic logistics, service provider collaboration teams, and other internal stakeholders to align procurement and logistics progress.
- Support overseas logistics managers and contribute to end-to-end supply chain solutions across multiple countries.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in international procurement.
- Proven exposure to Southeast Asian supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of regional trade environments, laws, and compliance requirements.
Skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to frequent business travel or short-term overseas assignments.
- Familiarity with regional trade agreements, including RCEP.
