Product Development Assistant Manager

About the role

Join AIG as a Product Development professional to play your part in reimagining how we help customers manage risk. As a key member of the Accident & Health product team, you will focus on ideation, product innovation, product marketing and marketing intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the research, positioning, and development of new product concepts and value propositions to support business growth.
• Support the Head of Accident & Health and Underwriting in defining product strategy and developing the product roadmap.
• Drive product ideation and collaborate with distribution channels, including Agency, Telemarketing, Brokers, and external partners, to develop market-relevant solutions.
• Identify product bundling opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to co-create innovative products.
• Manage the product development lifecycle, including business cases, governance approvals, project planning, stakeholder coordination, and launch execution.
• Track competitor product developments and market trends across Thailand and the region.
• Conduct and leverage customer insights to support product innovation and enhancement.
• Develop product marketing and sales enablement materials, including product propositions, sales scripts, training content, and partnership presentations.
• Partner with distribution teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns, drive product adoption, and perform post-launch evaluations to optimize performance.

About you

• Related experience – preferably within Insurance and with experience in product design or marketing
• Creative mindset and willingness to think out of the box and apply various techniques including design thinking to develop and test new product ideas and concepts
• Team player with experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with distribution teams and external partners
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint
• Strong proficiency in English and local language required
